A Look into Fixed CCTV Security Cameras
The most common types of security cameras used in CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems are the fixed or non-moveable ones. They typically come in two types: the first one being with a camera body and second one being basically composed of a lens and the circuit board.
The former are generally the ones you automatically see in many stores. When you look at them, you can generally identify them as a security camera. They are also the most commonly used fixed cameras due to their great flexibility when it comes to configuration. Generally, the security cameras with the body can be attached with other features such as a Back Light Compensation and Auto Electronic Shutter, among other helpful features.
On the other hand, the second type – those that are basically composed of a fixed lens attached directly to the camera’s circuit board — can be quite interesting. Commonly referred to as pinhole cameras or spy cameras, they can be installed into crevices of the walls — such as those in hotel hallways— to provide a discrete and covert surveillance.
