Surveillance and Privacy Concerns

Upon the birth of surveillance systems, there were some parties that expressed their concern that this new technology might violate the privacy of human beings. As we all know, all of the actions done by individuals can be recorded by a security camera. Because of this, some people argued that surveillance cameras tend to intrude on their civil rights.

Nevertheless, in spite of the negative feedbacks of some entities regarding security cameras, different institutions continue to employ surveillance systems in public places to protect the whole community should unfortunate events happen. With the help of different CCTV systems, it will be a lot easier for investigative teams to study an incident and to provide clearer information regarding a criminal offense conducted by a certain person or group.
